The 2012 Frederick Procurement Fair will take place at the Frederick Fairgrounds on April 17 from 9 am-12 pm. The event is free to attend and is free for businesses to exhibit. The fair is presented by the City of Frederick Department of Economic Development and the Frederick County Division of Business Development and Retention.

The 4th annual New Media and Technology Conference (FredNMT 2012) will take place at Mount Saint Marys University on February 23 from 8 am 3 pm. It is a presentation of the Frederick County Chamber of Commerce. Tickets are $125 for chamber members, $110 for non-profit members, $225 for non-members, $110 for presenters and $145 for partnership organizations.

The Small Business Development Center is presenting Introduction to Starting you own Business at the C. Burr Artz Library on February 6 from 6-7:45 pm. It is a free event but you must register in advance.
